How to "post a link" and use "peer review"?
When I completed some of the Mozilla courses, I remember some tasks required me to post a link to my work, and others required 3 people to confirm that I had completed a task. But when I create my own course, I don't see how to add these features.
Help!

Is anyone checking this board?

Hi Jason
It's great to see that you're using the peer review aspect of P2PU. The requirement to post a link to work is something that each individual orgaiser is able to choose when they create a course. Usually, organisers just create a task within a course called "post a link" and ask participants to copy and paste the link in, and get their peers to leave comments within the task.
In terms of having peers review tasks, we have folded this functionality into the badges feature (which may not have been operational when you were working through the Mozilla courses). Now, if an organiser chooses to associate a badge with a task, the reviews are needed in order for the badge to be awarded to the participant. (For background and information on badges, see this article: http://help.p2pu.org/kb/learning/what-are-badges)
However, you can still require your participants to review each other's tasks - one good way is to ask that for every task completed, 3 different pieces of feedback need to be left as comments (or some similar rubric). If you'd like us to help you develop this rubric, feel free to get in touch, either with me, or with our Learning Lead, Vanessa. (https://p2pu.org/en/vanessa.gennarell/)
Hope this is helpful - let us know if you need anything else!

Hello Jesellers--welcome to P2PU.
You are correct--the steps to issue badges are manual, and right now outside of the course creation process (though they won't always be! ).
The Badge Maker Challenge will walk you through the steps to create a badge and associate it with your Challenge: https://p2pu.org/en/groups/how-do-i-make-a-badge/
Onward, to awesome badges!
Please do let us know if you'd like further assistance, or feedback on your badges.
Cheerio, Vanessa

But... When I was working through the Webmaking 101 course, I remember that for some of the tasks, it gave me the "submit URL for review" option, and when I checked it, a little box would appear to enter a URL for review.
How do I add that box for users to paste a link to their work for review?

Hi there Jesellers--if you develop a "Community Badge" for your course, that badge is evidence-based, and will appear like these badges: https://p2pu.org/en/badges/submissions/
They will also appear on the front page of your Challenge:
https://p2pu.org/en/groups/webmaking-101-html-hunting-in-the-world-...
If you follow the steps in the Badge maker Challenge, we can implement that sort of badge for you: https://p2pu.org/en/groups/how-do-i-make-a-badge/
Cheerio, Vanessa
