password reset email not being sent

There seems to be a bug with the website. I've been trying to log in to my account to change my email preferences, but can't figure out what password I used. The password reset button has not managed to send me any emails, and yes, I have checked my spam folder.

    Hi Sam, thanks for letting us know. I've queued this up for our Development Lead to help you out. Is there a chance the account is registered to another email? And what is your P2PU username?

    No idea what my P2PU username is, but I do know what email address I am receiving messages at. One should not need more than the email address to access one's account.

    Oh, I think the username is "sflicht".
    I tried the password reset tool again, using the username instead of the email address.
    It did not work.

    You really need to fix the spam filter on this site.
    Now I am getting annoying emails because of all the spam responses above.
    (I believe these messages are from spammers; your auto-moderation software is stripping the marketing URLs from in between the text blocks which are randomly generated to raise the text - to - URL ratio, thereby defeating some other websites' spam filters I suspect.)

    Hey Sam - Apologies for the SPAM. We are using a third-party service (tenderapp) to manage support tickets and one of their SPAM filtering options doesn't seem to be very effective. I will discuss with the others if we want to switch to reCAPTCHA for new users, which should decrease the amount of SPAM that comes through.

    One of the tech folks will get back to you regarding your account settings / pw reset.

    Hi Sam

    I just tried resetting your password again and it seems like the notification has been sent to [email blocked]? We are using sendgrid for sending email and they report that the email was delivered?

    If you haven't received the email, just let me know and we can make a plan to manually reset your password.

    I still haven't received the email, nor is it in my spam folder. I'm not sure what could be going wrong.
